Fix It People uses text messaging to communicate with clients about appointments, project updates, invoices, and service-related information. By providing your phone number and requesting our services, you consent to receive text messages from Fix It People related to your project.

Message frequency varies based on project activity. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message we send. To request assistance, reply HELP. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to receive service; we will communicate with you by other means.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service Providers

Client Referral Requests & Contact Sharing

We do not share client contact information with other clients or third parties for referral purposes. If you are asked to serve as a reference or are contacted by someone claiming to represent Fix It People requesting client contact details, please notify us directly.

Fix It People may photograph work in progress and completed projects for internal documentation, quality assurance, and marketing purposes, including use on our website and social media. Photos taken by our team on your property do not include identifying information such as your name or address.

If you submit photos to support your service request, those images may be retained in your project file. Photos you submit to support your service request may be used for the same purposes as photos taken by our team, including marketing and social media. If you prefer your submitted photos not be used publicly, please notify us in writing before your project begins.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client records are generally retained for a minimum of 3 years following the completion of services. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 9).
